I'm just a creator who likes to create. I build software things that help our culture move forward.

My work lives at the intersection of enterprise engineering and community empowerment. I've built distributed microservices at scale for Fortune 500 companies, and I've built cooperative economics platforms for families trying to create generational wealth. The technical complexity is the same — what changes is who benefits. Every project I take on serves a larger purpose: moving our culture forward.

What I Build

I'm a full-stack developer with 20 years of experience, specializing in Java, Spring Boot, and modern web technologies. My work spans two worlds — enterprise systems and community-focused platforms — and I bring the same rigor to both. My current work includes:

• Business Platforms — Complete operations systems built for the long haul: membership management, QR code check-in, space booking, tenant portals, admin dashboards, and automated testing suites. Recent projects have exceeded 52,000 lines of production-quality code.
• Community Platforms — Cooperative economic tools that help families and communities build generational wealth through structured, role-based workflows and secure payment processing.
• Resource Libraries — Centralized knowledge hubs that connect entrepreneurs with funding, tools, and community — built with content management, user progress tracking, and performance-optimized data retrieval.
• Artist Experiences — Branded digital spaces where creatives showcase their work, sell merch, and connect directly with their audience — without platform middlemen.
• Vacation Rental Sites — Custom booking experiences with payment integration for property owners who want to own their guest relationships and eliminate platform fees.

How I Work

I build fast. Using modern tools and AI-assisted development, I can deliver complete web applications in weeks, not months. Recent projects have gone from concept to deployment in 4-6 weeks — fully tested, production-ready, and built to last.

My stack: Java 17, Spring Boot, Thymeleaf, Tailwind CSS, HTMX, Alpine.js, React, PostgreSQL. I'm equally fluent in server-side rendering for fast, SEO-friendly content experiences and React frontends for complex interactive applications — whichever fits the problem. Deployed via GitLab CI/CD to Digital Ocean, with comprehensive automated test coverage using JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers on every production project.

The Labs

Beyond production projects, I explore bigger ideas in my Labs — concepts like Self Oriented Design (inspired by Ma'at and African wisdom systems), truth provenance algorithms for reclaiming narratives, and AI-powered tools for music producers rooted in Hip Hop sensibilities.
